Waggware is once again participating in CS Week 35 in Orlando, Florida from May 23-26. This will be Waggware’s 4th year hosting a booth at the premier educational event for the Energy and Utility industries including cooperative and municipal management. Covering key topics such as Smart Infrastructure, AMI, MDM, Billing, Customer Contact Center, Payments, Credit & Collections and Field Customer Service CS Week is attended by C-level Executives, Customer Service and IT Managers, Directors and VPs from around the globe.
Designed to provide the latest technology and best practice solutions to attendees through workshops, peer to peer networking and industry expert speakers CS Week attracts more than 100 exhibitors and will feature 127 speakers. The nine workshop tracks revolve around Strategies and Management and cover pertinent topics like Smart Grid/Infrastructure, Home Area Networks, AMI/AMR, load management and profiling, dynamic pricing and communications architecture for mobile workforce management applications.
Given all the discussion in the last year over strategies for utilities to improve and increase services and find new ways to engage customers it’s no surprise six of the 9 workshop tracks have emphasis on customer service strategies including tips on how to leverage social media. There is also a focus on “how to do more with less” as utilities struggle to realize any ROI as they are forced to replace legacy systems and add new applications to adapt and keep up with the evolution of Smart Grid technology.
CS Week 35 also includes the second annual Canada Day where all Canadian utility personnel and vendors are invited to a day packed with Canadian-specific utility topics and speakers. A quote taken from the CS Week 35 website reflects Ontario’s position as a thought leader in the Smart Grid technology and services space; Ontario's commitment to smart infrastructure implementation is being evaluated by other utilities as the wave of the future and raising questions about new services it might bring.
